CBSE has introduced ASL for the students of IX ,X and XI students with the target of Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation . For class IX and XI the marks for ASL will be 20 and for the class X it is going to be 10 .It means class Ix and XI will take their exams 20 marks less such as for class ix it will be only of 70.The whole process will be completed electronically .There will be audio recording and the cds will be sent to the regional offices .For class X marks will be sent electronically by the school.

For this first time class X students will face the ASL and of course will play very important role in determining their grades at the end .
